Ever since I got hooked onto hiking and camping, I found a great desire to own knives. It could be because of how useful they are in general or how useful they are in surviving in the wild. With that being said, my desire to own knives grew as the years went by and it turned into a full time hobby.
I had and have no intention on using knives on any living thing as such, trust me, they're use is for far better things. One such example is the creation of the Survival knife. Such a fantastic tool, carves into so many things, can turn your entire camping/hiking trip into a success by just owning one.
That just kicked things off for me. The next phase that interested me were Butterfly knife's. These are simply the best. Pity they have such restrictions but the general trainers offered these days still do the trick for me. They're extremely affordable and the tricks one can pull off with a trainer is impressive as hell. If you would like to read more on The Butterfly Knife : Click Here
Then I decided to go through an automatic knife phase. These are pretty cool, I wouldn't put them at the top of my list of favourite knives but they cool designs makes it worth owning one. I came across a double bladed Batman knife which is so epic!
Owning a knife doesn't have to be a dangerous hobby. Heck, you may never even need to use them as such. It's just really amazing to go through a display of different blades that stood the test of time. Many of these knives become collectibles or limited editions and selling them online can even turn out to be rather profitable.
